Links between the International Scout Fellowship and the associations's branches
The Association will seek to increase member to member links between Scouts in the UK and the branches. There is a lot that can be done nationally and that is important. The links at member level bring real benefits to both sides:
- Improvement of the youth program,
- Greater awareness of the international dimension of Scouting,
- Experience of working in partnership with people in the development process
- Experience of planning and delivering successful projects. The overall approach could be described as a framework which develops our partnerships,
- Encourages the sharing of experience and plans
- Promotes exchanges and visits
- Provides training and material support
- Works with the World Organisation of the Scout Movement.
