UK Uganda Network

Marv Takel with Nick Winter returned to Uganda in February/early March taking with them 4,000 Uganda Scout Association National Badges, costing nearly £900,for which the UK Africa Scout Fellowship funded 50% cost from its crediting account.

British Groups Abroad (BGA)

We look forward to supporting British Groups Abroad in encouraging them to form Scout Active Support Units either directly through their Group, or as individuals through the ISAS and will be pleased to give support if required.

World Scout Jamboree

Several of our members attended as Contingent Leaders in their Counties and as members of the International Service Team. With over 7000 IST members its not surprising that they were all kept quite busy with their various tasks supporting over 40,000 young people.

Awards

Congratulations to Derek Pollard on the award of the Bronze Wolf - this is the only award made by the World Organization of Scout Movements. It is given solely in recognition of outstanding service by an individual to the World Scout Movement. This citation is as follows:
